Confederate Sharps Carbine Richmond, Virginia SOLD

Scarce Confederate cavalry carbine as manufactured by the Confederate Armory at Richmond, Virginia, circa 1862. Called the "Richmond Sharps" by collectors. Has some stress cracks in metal as shown and the breech is sticking (recently found in an attic of an old farm home in the Shenandoah Valley)--unmolested example of a RARE 100% Confederate manufactured weapon.
